Tasks

-Develop relationships with land agents and landowners to help promote Persimmon as an effective development partner. -Responsible for the identification and acquisition of quality strategic land opportunities. -Develop effective planning and land strategies to ensure our sites are optimally promoted and the value of our strategic sites are maximised. -Take budgetary control for strategic land sites. -Lead and motivate the strategic land team in ensuring strategic land opportunities are actioned swiftly so to maintain the highest standards of success. -Ensure we build and foster relationships with public sector bodies ensuring the company maintains a competitive edge. -Work alongside the operational company Managing Directors, Land/Planning Directors and Group Land team in delivering a clear and deliverable pipeline of new strategic opportunities.

What You Bring

-Excellent knowledge of the area and good relationships with land agents, landowners, planning consultants, lawyers and local authorities. -Significant experience is essential working for either a housebuilder or land promoter in a strategic land capacity. -Understanding of the financial and legal aspects of strategic land. -Full UK Driving Licence
