Tasks

The Safety Head will lead and manage all safety operations across Neo Heights’ construction and industrial project sites. This role is responsible for developing safety policies, ensuring compliance with statutory and ISO 45001 standards, conducting audits, driving safety awareness, and building a strong safety culture across the organization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in construction safety, strong leadership skills, and the ability to guide teams toward zero-incident project execution. -Maintain documentation for legal compliance, inspections, permits, and certifications. -Monitor safety performance of subcontractors. -Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments. -Represent the organization during client audits and external inspections. -Review Method Statements, JSA, and HIRA for all high-risk activities. -Prepare and deliver onboarding safety training for new employees. -Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis. -Ensure compliance with all statutory, ISO, and client safety requirements. -Ensure timely communication of safety updates to leadership. -Develop corrective and preventive action plans. -Monitor near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions, ensuring timely closure. -Develop and implement company-wide safety policies, standards, and procedures. -Liaise with government bodies, statutory officers, and client representatives. -Evaluate competency of safety officers and workforce. -Ensure PPE compliance and equipment safety checks. -Lead and mentor the EHS team across multiple sites. -Prepare and submit monthly EHS reports and performance metrics. -Plan fire drills, emergency preparedness programs, and high-risk activity trainings. -Build a strong safety culture through training, awareness, and continuous improvement. -Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, and Contractors for safe execution. -Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and management briefings.

What You Bring

Experience - 15+ Years -Proven track record in reducing incidents and implementing safety improvement programs. -Strong knowledge of safety regulations, statutory compliances, and ISO 45001 standards. -Ability to work closely with project teams and handle client/consultant safety requirements. -Expertise in HIRA, JSA, PTW systems. -Minimum 15 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial project safety. -Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills. -Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently -Strong documentation and reporting skills. -Proactive approach to safety improvement initiatives. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering -Diploma in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH certification is mandatory. -Experience in leading safety teams across multiple project sites.
