The Role

Overview

Assist with installation, commissioning, and support of control systems for data center projects.

Tasks

-Understand the scope of work assigned to you, identify when issues arise that are beyond that scope, and communicate those issues to the assigned project lead. -Provide excellent customer care and support. -Know how and when to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). -Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams. -Go the extra mile for your customer, take ownership of their needs, over communicate. Drive customer success. -Always follow up and honor commitments with customers. -Follow customer specific site standards and procedures. -Assist in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). -Assist in project installation, start-up and commissioning of control systems. -Develop startup and troubleshooting skills with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) applications. -Foster an environment of integrity, trust, collaboration, professionalism, serving one another, leading by example, and assuming good intent each and every day. -Develop basic understanding of Information Technology (IT) system, network infrastructure, and computer system design, as it relates to control system integration. -Complete assigned tasks accurately, on schedule, and under budget. -Promotes a positive/collaborative team culture. -Develop basic understanding of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) applications. -Accurately document work performed. -Perform instrument loop checks and calibrations. -Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of control systems. -Develop startup and troubleshooting skills with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications. -Develop basic understanding of control system design. -Maintain professional relations with co-workers, offer assistance to co-workers when possible, ask for help and guidance from coworkers when necessary, and always treat co-workers with respect. -Wire instruments and control panels. -Practice procedures outlined in the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

What You Bring

-Fit for Duty at all times -Maintain a valid drivers license. -Proficient with multimeter, signal generators, and other hand tools. -Develop basic understanding of electrical and mechanical system design. -Possess and apply hands-on electrical and mechanical skills. -Communicate in an effective, positive, and proactive manner with customers. -Able to solve problems. -Proficient in Microsoft operating systems and Office tools. -Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located is required. -Be patient, attentive, and responsive to customers in solving their problems. -Up to 100% of time spent at customer locations with overnight travel up to 60%. -Typically, 0-3 years of industry experience -Listens closely and actively seeks knowledge from senior staff members. -Associate in Applied Science or Associate in Science in Engineering Technology, Computer Information Systems Technology, relevant curriculum or experience.
