Cathodic Protection Technician handling CP design, installation, testing and project management.

Tasks

-Assist in performing Design work as required -Coordinate sub contractors activities -Writing up reports -Liaise with the Sales department to obtain BOM sales prices for material element of projects -Perform maintenance checks and troubleshooting tests of existing protection systems -Prepare and follow risk assessments -Carrying out site surveys performing specific tests on Pipelines, Tank farms, refineries, pump stations, onshore marine terminals and jetties -This role will involve travelling away during the week - But not on weekends -Generate BOM and services -Prepare technical bids against allocated and reviewed enquiries -Supervise and assist in the installation of new or replacement CP equipment -Collecting & reviewing data to determine condition of structures under evaluation

What You Bring

-Understanding of CAD software -Travelling across the UK to customers, overseas travel maybe involved as the role develops in time -Strong communication skills -UK Driving Licence - Essential -Excellent attention to detail -Our client is looking for somebody with a Qualification - ICORR / NACE Level 2 or 3 -You must be willing to stay away from home as this will involve being away from home most weeks Monday to Thursday/Friday -Passport - Essential -Days based role 8:30am-5pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays - 36.5 hours per week - Must be flexible to start / finish times
