Tasks

-Working on a variety of projects in the Yorkshire reporting directly to the Commercial Manager. -The role will be a mix of office and site based work and will provide commercial support to the project teams on all projects for which they are responsible. -Ensure that projects are administered effectively and that the business objectives in terms of appropriate commercial targets and customer focus are achieved.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with JCT/NEC/ forms of contract. -Good operational planning and time management skills. -Knowledge of current Construction Law. -Ability to work in a team environment contributing across the business unit. -Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor. -Experience in commercial management. -Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis. -Ability to motivate self and colleagues to achieve high standards of compliance. -Good management skills. -Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations.
