Overview

Supervise technical maintenance trades, ensuring safety and compliance at RAAF Learmonth.

Tasks

-Actively supports and participates in transformation programs. -Ensures work order allocation to timesheets is accurate. -Ensure contractual compliance through site assessments and initiate necessary work orders or quotes. -Oversees contractor safety frameworks including SWMS, onsite compliance to Ventia Critical Risk Protocols. -Proactive contractor management of all key performance metrics within the month. -Provide on-going support and leadership to the trades and maintenance team -Manage client requests and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication. -Oversee planned maintenance and repair works, including audits and optimisation of assets. -Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and Defence contracts.

What You Bring

-Uniform/PPE supplied. -Strong negotiation and communication skills. -Relevant Technical Trade Certificate -Proven experience in operational leadership within Defence or similar complex environments. -Demonstrated experience supervising subcontractors and liaising directly with clients. -Proficient computer skills—intermediate level in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook -Working knowledge of WHS legislation, WHS committees and safety culture development. -A valid C-class driver's license.
