Asset Protection Officer

Overview

Enforce community policies, ensure safety, and provide resident service at apartment complexes.

Tasks

-Conduct a monthly light out inspection of all the lights in the community’s common areas. -Provide exceptional customer service skills to all residents, potential residents, and their guests. -Develop and maintain a strong liaison with local, county, and state police agencies. -Maintain high visibility to ensure and deter unacceptable activities in the community. -Report all emergencies immediately to the Community Manager and Security Director and provide an incident report within 24hrs of the incident. -Generate a well written and descriptive report to account for all activities during the duration of your patrol. -Regularly check vacant units to ensure all are intact and with windows and doors secured.

What You Bring

-Must fully understand and implement all aspects of the community policy and be able to enforce community lease, rules and regulations, as well as local, state, and federal laws fairly and impartially, ensuring you are not violating Fair Housing. -Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check. -Must be 18 years or older. -Must be able to respond to medical, criminal, and disaster incidents and determine / direct immediate response action. -Must have basic computer skills. -Must have your own reliable transportation. -Law enforcement or military experience preferred. -Must have a valid driver license. -Must be able to work any days and occasional overtime. -High School or equivalent
