The Role

Overview

Manage delivery of £50k‑£15m projects for Rolls Royce sites, ensuring health, safety, quality, cost & schedule compliance.

Tasks

-Promote and maintain effective client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance the company's reputation at project level. -Provide coaching, mentoring and development support to direct reports and trainees. -Play an active lead in the production and risk management of quotations and estimates. -Support the project risk management process and ensure effective controls are established to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the projects. -Manage the projects in accordance with the requirements of the NEC3 Framework Contract and ensure projects are delivered to the agreed contract programme. -You will have responsibility for the execution of projects with potential values between £50k to £15m, across various Rolls Royce sites in Inchinnam. -You will provide Health and safety leadership to your site delivery teams (including sub-contractors and suppliers), promoting behavioural safety improvements, ensuring our suppliers, sub-contractors and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Engineering standards. -Liaise with the Rolls Royce Project Managers to ensure that the projects are managed in compliance with MS18, CS06 and the current delivery programme and cost plan. -Work closely with the Senior Design Manager to ensure robust, workable economic and constructable designs are produced. -Ensure that post completion deliverables such as final accounts and Operation & Maintenance information is delivered within the contracted timescales. -To enhance the strength of contract delivery to ensure highest standards of quality are maintained in accordance with programme delivery - complying with relevant British Standards, codes of practice and Rolls Royce Standards. -Support project opportunities where identified, to realise, maintain and improve the commercial project performance. -Ensure projects are completed snag and defect free.

What You Bring

-Competent user of IT software packages including MS Office, Fieldview or similar tablet-based quality assurance software (essential). -Proven and demonstrable experience in the role of a Project Manager within the building/construction/building service industries (essential). -Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken. Able to demonstrate initiative and problem solve (essential). -Experience in the preparation of quotations and estimates (essential). -Experience of working in occupied buildings/campuses (essential). -High level organisational ability along with time management skills in order to drive and meet deadlines (essential). -City & Guilds /NVQ (or equivalent) construction related qualification (essential). -Commitment to providing a high-quality service demonstrating reliability, conscientiousness and flexibility (essential). -Ability to develop a good understanding of the customers’ business requirements (essential) -Excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills (essential). -Experience of managing health and safety procedures along with knowledge of H&S standards/regulations across multiple sites (essential). -Experience in the use of NEC3 Contracts (essential) -SMSTS, JIB/BESA, CSCS Card, First Aid (essential).
