Tasks

Reporting to the Head Of Debt Information and Risk, this technical role will require you to design, scope, develop and deliver data solutions to meet the requests of stakeholders, while seeking opportunities to improve data insight. As a valued member of the team, you will be supporting the Group Environmental Policy and its associated sustainability objectives and targets. This role sits within our Credit Management Department, which handles activity relating to the collection of unpaid energy bills (domestic & business) and other companies within the Ecotricity Group. -You will have a questioning mind, not accepting of answers at face value, you will seek to obtain corroborating evidence for information received. -Building collaborative relationships -Identify trends to define and improve business strategies -Act as a key point of contact for both regulatory and operational reporting -Stakeholder management and facilitation of decisions of all sizes -Review reporting methods and processes, maximising the opportunity to automate wherever possible

What You Bring

Knowledge of the Energy industry would be beneficial but not essential. You will be an experienced data analyst with a proven track record in BI, data manipulation and problem solving. You’ll have experience in building relationships and mentoring junior members of a team. The role will require you to be a strong communicator, both written and verbally, with the ability to convey key information in a variety of digestible formats, providing delivery timescales and using strong stakeholder management skills to communicate these. -Strong working knowledge of SQL for data analysis (MS-SQL/Databricks - T-SQL, View and table design, Experience of ETL) -Strong presentation skills for engaging senior stakeholders -Strong technical analytical skills as a Data Analyst -Utilities sector experience -Expert with PowerBI -Ability to handle high pressure situations -Managing and manipulating data experience -You will have a ‘can do’ attitude. Demonstrating persistence to work through complex problems independently. -Making complex decisions – You will demonstrate abilities to manage high quantities of data, to make good and timely decisions. -Advanced MS Excel (Power Query, Power Pivots)
