Overview

Provide concierge, safety, security and fire protection services for guests and property.

Tasks

-Conducts fire drills and safety and fire prevention programs -Acts in response to suspicious persons and situations, safety hazards, and unusual or illegal activity in assigned area -Completes logs or reports pertinent to duties or daily activities -Inspects and maintains emergency and safety equipment and vehicles and reports malfunctions -Assist in training on fire prevention, the proper use of fire suppression equipment and building evacuation procedures and conducts inspections for fire, safety or security risks or hazards and recommends corrective measures -Assists with building evacuations and crowd and traffic control -Patrols assigned areas maintaining buildings and grounds security, responds to emergency situations, assists in searches, and observes and reports special hazards -Assist to guests’ requests, luggage handling -Responds to and assists with emergency and assistance calls, or other situations; notifies the appropriate emergency personnel as needed

What You Bring

-First Aid/CPR certified preferred -Professional experience in the areas of conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and threat response -Must be flexible on schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays -Fluent in security industry standards and methods -Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization -Must hold and maintain applicable state guard certifications and licenses -Minimum high school qualification or equivalent in any field -Preferred to have 1 year related experience in safety, security, or fire prevention work -Excellent time-management, communication, incident report writing, and organizational skills -Proven ability to handle tough situations with tact and discretion and the ability to function at a high level during stressful situations
