Lead and manage Construction Engineering & Inspection discipline in Florida

Tasks

-Actively involved in the cross selling of all company services. -Works with the geographic discipline leaders on resource sharing and staffing needs. -Responsible for billings and collections. -Directs overall productivity, profitability, client satisfaction and quality of work. -Responsible for discipline marketing and business development. -Monitor staff utilization regularly and take corrective action if necessary. -Travels (via car or airplane) regularly to the various regions and offices. -Provides leadership, managerial direction and guidance for the region to achieve established goals. -Complies with and ensures others compliance with all CED policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Health and Safety Program. -Responsible for regional training and staff procurement and development.

What You Bring

-Leadership skills & decisive decision making. -Strong mathematics skills. -Prior FDOT experience is required. -Great communication skills. -Comfortable with using computers and adapting to software. -Ability to procure and maintain business with FDOT Districts, Water/Wastewater Districts, CFX, GMA, Counties, Cities and Municipalities. -Bachlors Degree in related field (Construction Management or Civil Engineering). -Valid US Driver's License required. -Ability and willingness to work outdoors on a project site for extended period. -Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. -20+ years of transportation construction experience. -Attention to detail. -Experience managing teams required.
