Tasks

-Communicate mechanical issues with the supervisor. -Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections. -Maintain vehicle cleanliness. -Keep records of services performed, including daily truck reports, and work closely with supervisors to ensure quality standards. -Follow all safety protocols and company procedures. -May need to work overtime or assist in route optimization. -Identify prohibited waste and manage any hazardous materials. -Safely operate collection truck and equipment.

What You Bring

-Frequent noise and the need to work near moving vehicles. -Licensing: Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. -Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment. -Exposure to varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, or rain. -Continuous outdoor work with occasional exposure to hazardous conditions. -Physical Ability: Must meet physical demands like lifting, maneuvering in tight spaces, and safely operating equipment. -Experience: Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or completion of CDL school. -Good communication and teamwork skills. -Ability to perform tasks like walking, climbing, kneeling, and lifting. -Ability to operate equipment and recognize waste disposal issues. -Education: High school diploma or GED (preferred). -Ability to perform tasks involving manual labor, such as lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. -Basic understanding of safety and maintenance procedures for equipment.
