The Role
Overview
Lead and execute complex source emissions testing projects, mentor staff, ensure compliance.

Tasks
-Prepare high-quality technical reports, including regulatory documentation, emissions data summaries, and field observations. -Lead and perform on-site stack testing and source emissions monitoring in accordance with federal and regional regulatory methods (e.g., EPA Reference Methods, ECCC). -Analyze collected data and ensure QA/QC protocols are strictly followed throughout testing and reporting processes. -Support project scoping, scheduling, and budgeting in collaboration with project managers and senior leadership. -Train, mentor, and supervise junior field technicians and new team members. -Keep current with evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices, proactively adapting procedures and technologies. -Troubleshoot and maintain analytical and sampling skills equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability. -Plan and manage field deployments, including crew logistics, equipment preparation, and safety procedures. -Serve as a technical liaison with clients, regulators, and internal teams to communicate project scope, progress, and findings. -Collect samples at locations that may require working at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions

What You Bring
-Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. -Preferably, a minimum of 5-years experience working in the Air Quality field -Willingness to travel, and work outdoors including working long hours, evenings, and weekends -Ambient monitoring experience is an asset -Post-secondary education in Environmental Technology, Engineering, Chemistry or a related field. -An aptitude for practical problem-solving -An ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with no supervision -Strong computer and analytical technical “hands-on” skills -Must have a valid driver's license. -Exceptional organizational capabilities, coordination, and consultation skills -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Strong people and team skills as well as being highly motivated
