Tasks

Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. -Oversee technical documentation, including integration designs and sustainment strategies. -Facilitate stakeholder engagement to drive digital transformation. -Design and implementation of digital integration within an ICT Environment. -Develop technical and business solutions and ensure alignment with the Defence Capability Model. -Provide risk management guidance and support design development.

What You Bring

Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a Positive vetting clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement. We currently have an opportunity for an ICT Project Manager with prior experience in Coalition to join our team on permanent basis in Canberra. Play a key role in delivering complex defence projects that safeguard Australia’s future. More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients. -You must have and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. -Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to deliver strategic solutions. -Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite products including Visio, Project and Excel -A few years of relevant project management experience preferably in an ICT team within a Federal Government environment. -Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the Defence or professional services industries. -Previous experience with Coalition or FVEY will be highly regarded. -Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT or equivalent experience.
