Tasks

-Manage and oversee all phases of assigned bridge design and rehabilitation projects -Monitor and control project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards -Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to client satisfaction -Provide technical expertise in bridge engineering, including design, analysis, reporting, and specification preparation -Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical and professional growth of the bridge team -Develop and maintain strong client relationships across New York State, particularly with transportation agencies and municipalities -Lead and participate in business development efforts, including client meetings, proposal development, and presentations

What You Bring

The successful candidate will be both a proven technical expert in bridge engineering and a strong leader with demonstrated experience managing projects, winning work, and building long-term client relationships. -15+ years of progressive bridge engineering and project management experience -PE license required -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s a plus) -Established client relationships within the New York transportation sector -Proven track record in business development, proposal preparation, and project pursuits -Experience delivering projects for NYSDOT, NYSTA, and Local Federal Aid programs -Excellent project management expertise, with knowledge of industry-standard processes and tools -Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills; ability to represent the firm at a senior level
