Coordinate and support bid proposals and submissions for consulting projects

Tasks

-Arranging bid gateway and progress meetings throughout the bid process -Contributing to the written proposal – particularly the Executive Summary, ensuring this fully captures the win themes and value proposition -Editing / proof reading bid inputs -Identifying gaps, drafting improvements for sign-off and maintaining content for the Bid Library -Ownership of smaller scale bids and fee proposals, working directly with technical bid owners (drawing on advice and guidance from Bid Managers as appropriate) -Using InDesign to create on-brand documents, drawing on graphics support where relevant -Reviewing and editing project sheets to improve content, liaising with Project Managers to explore and communicate challenges and solutions and added value on projects -Supporting wider business development / work winning activity as required, including opportunity / competitor / market research -Assisting Bid Managers in major submissions by owning individual bid elements -Monitoring the bid team inbox to field enquiries and correspondence -Production and ownership of bid plans and supporting documents to facilitate the bid process

What You Bring

-Experience delivering significant/complex bids involving multiple technical contributors and good project management ability -Attention to detail – critical eye to ensure consistency throughout documents and compliance with tender requirements -Knowledge of bidding best practice and an understanding of public procurement -Excellent written and spoken communication skills and ability to present written information in a structured and balanced way appropriate to the reader -Impeccable organisational and project management skills -Ability to keep a calm head and solve problems as they arise -Confidence to constructively challenge and influence to ensure the best outcome
