Tasks

-Supporting the water group by preparing design drawings, plans, technical reports and details, for various water/wastewater treatment projects. -Internships are designed to introduce and build essential hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

What You Bring

-Candidates must pursue a bachelor’s degree in environmental/civil engineering or in another related field and must have completed three (3) or more years of study. Candidates who have graduated with a bachelor’s degree and are currently or planning to continue with their master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Graduates not pursuing a master’s degree must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term. -Completed university courses in water treatment (Fluid Mechanics, Water Resources, Hydrology, Environmental Chemistry). -Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and as a condition of employment, must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review. -Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing, and standard office software. -Good communication skills. -GIS and CAD skills. -Pursuing Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE). -Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. -Ability to work productively in a team environment.
