The Role

Overview

Oversee pharma/biotech construction projects, manage subcontractors, schedules, and safety.

Tasks

-Build/maintain jobsite culture of “Safety First” -Review estimates with operations team to ensure logistical/site considerations are included -Complete daily/weekly reports and maintain photo journal of progress -Provide coordination and supervision of Pharma / Biotech renovations and building additions with large amounts of process piping, clean utilities, mechanical upgrades, and automation -Build/update construction schedule and ‘look ahead’ schedules -Collect, review and submit shop drawings, product data, test reports, etc. -Collaboration with clients, design teams and subcontractors for project success -Daily coordination and management of subcontractors and jobsite logistics -Review project budgets with project management weekly /monthly

What You Bring

-Proficient with scheduling software -Good working knowledge of mechanical systems and process piping -Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team -Self-motivation with good time management skills -Degree in construction management or experience in the trades -A minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction management/supervision -Excellent communication and problem-solving skills -MS Office Suite knowledge and strong computer skills
