Overview

Tasks
-Establish goals and meet schedules through planning and helping to motivate the crew. -Responsible for physical jobsite organization and housekeeping to ensure a safe and professional work area. -Maintain knowledge of local and national codes, as well as industry standards (training available). -Start work on time with the required hand tools and PPE to perform the job safely and productively. -Collaborate with other trades such as HVAC and electrical teams to ensure successful integration of plumbing systems on large-scale commercial projects. -Interpret and follow blueprints, specifications, and project plans to ensure compliance with local and state building codes. -Ensure work is performed in compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety standards. -Participate in meetings and training as necessary. -Troubleshoot plumbing issues, diagnose system malfunctions, and repair or replace faulty components as needed. -Perform backflow prevention testing and other code-required inspections. -Identify and respond to the needs of internal and external clients 100% of the time. -Assume responsibility in designated areas of the project. -Communicate service and maintenance procedures clearly to clients upon completion of tasks. -Work within the company’s safety guidelines and employee policy. -Install and service plumbing systems in mechanical rooms, including pumps, water heaters, and pressure regulators. -Work with a variety of materials including but not limited to PVC, copper, PEX, black iron, and galvanized steel pipes. -Utilize company process systems (MSI, Keystyle, etc.) to properly track work performed and hours spent in the field. -Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water, gas, and drainage pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial buildings. -Use a variety of tools including pipe cutters, threading machines, soldering torches, pressure gauges, and inspection cameras to complete installations and repairs. -Provide guidance and oversight to apprentice plumbers to ensure quality and adherence to industry standards. -Specialize in hydronics, including the installation and maintenance of hydronic heating systems and components (boilers, radiators, piping).

What You Bring
-Be able to work a full range of physical activity in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, kneeling and squatting, climbing, walking for extended periods of time. -Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. -Be able to lift 75 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday. -Regular and predictable attendance is expected to meet the requirements of this position. -Proficient in the use of plumbing tools and equipment. -Proven experience in commercial plumbing, including work on mechanical rooms and hydronic systems. -Current Journeyman Plumbing License in the state of Colorado. -Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. -Capable of hearing at a level or correctable to a level where the person is able to receive detailed information through verbal communication. Vision must also be at a level or correctable level where the person has clarity both in short and long-distance vision. -Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. -Be able to reach overhead. -Ability to work independently and in coordination with other trades. -Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations. -Availability to work on an on-call basis, including after-hours shifts (Friday-Thursday, rotating schedule). -Strong knowledge of plumbing materials, tools, and installation techniques. -Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
