The Role

Overview

Manage and track contracts/subcontracts for large-scale data center projects.

Tasks

-Assist with drafting, reviewing, and tracking customer contracts and subcontracts. -Support project teams by providing guidance on contractual requirements and impacts to project operations. -Track, organize and save documents in appropriate file locations. -Review contracts to ensure adherence to risk mitigation requirements. -Schedule and coordinate contract-related meetings, assign action items, and track deadlines to ensure timely completion. -Draft notices and negotiate and draft change orders. -Assist with populating contract templates with appropriate project and third-party information and distribute to internal stakeholders and third-party partners for their review and comment. -Work closely with the field and project management teams to ensure successful delivery of the project. -Assist with negotiating any delay and/or cost settlement agreements. -Collaborate with legal and operational leads to drive resolution of contractual disputes. -Vet potential subcontractors to ensure compliance with Quanta safety, quality, and financial requirements -Review and verify lien waivers and assist with invoicing, as needed. -Prepare and lead detailed RFQ’s for subcontracted work -Maintain a comprehensive contract database tracking key terms, deadlines, obligations, and other relevant details. -Track “lessons learned” and assist with the development of trackers for contract management. -Review and verify terms of certificates of insurance received from subcontractors and other third parties.

What You Bring

-5+ years of contracts experience in the construction/services industry required, with a focus on contracts and subcontracts management. -Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. -Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. -Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). -Effective time management skills. -Experience related to Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects required, and experience in the natural gas generation and/or electric power industries (transmission and distribution) strongly preferred. -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; related work experience may be substituted. -Demonstrated ability to multitask. -Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
