Tasks

-Meet shipping deadlines by working required hours and be able to work any required overtime (only if approved) -Unpack, examine and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages -Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications -Maintain self-motivation and work with minimum supervision -Keep bins filled -Prepare items for shipment, including wrapping and weighing the pallet -Pick parts for production and assist with production pickups and other needs -Put product into proper locations -Perform inventory transactions in system -Determine method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates -Operate a fork truck to lift, move or hoist shipping/receiving materials from the shipping/receiving area to storage or work area -Maintain above average attendance -Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments -Combine like parts into locations -Pull products from racks and prepare product for shipment -Responsible for the quality of our product

-Better than average attendance -Certified fork truck driver (Will train if necessary) -High School Diploma or equivalent -Accuracy when counting parts, both incoming and outgoing -Proficient at using iPad -Strong communication skills with co-workers and supervisors -Computer knowledge/running labels -Strong initiative & ability to work independently -Certified First Aid Attendant (Will train if necessary) -Ability to work safely and ensure that shop floor safety procedures are followed -Capability of doing multi-task jobs -Accuracy in counting parts
