Maintenance Supervisor

Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and supervise maintenance staff.

Tasks

-Prepares or assists in preparing apartment turns for new residents from painting, flooring, general repairs, housekeeping, etc. -Acts as a team leader; among the general maintenance associates; delegating, supervising, directing and assisting in the work of the department. -Installs and repairs electrical systems, appliances, electrical and HVAC equipment. -Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices. -Monitors the maintenance and up-keep of all mechanical equipment on the community including, but not limited to, water heaters, HVAC units, etc. -Works along with general maintenance staff in maintaining grounds and keeping them free of trash and debris. -Performs various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in maintenance log. -Performs on-call emergency service as required. -Responsible for the hands-on maintenance of the property, including overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance of apartment homes and other interior/exterior areas.

What You Bring

-Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and electrical fixtures. -Supervisory experience (preferred). -A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred). -A minimum of three (3) years hands-on maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. -An EPA or CFC certification.
