Overview

Design, develop, and maintain Ignition SCADA and PLC automation for chemical blending.

Tasks

-Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley (RSLogix/Studio 5000) and other PLCs. -Develop HMI screens, dashboards, and reports for operators and management. -Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to improve system performance and uptime. -Support chemical blending and filling operations by ensuring automation systems are reliable and scalable. -Maintain documentation for automation systems, including network diagrams, control logic, and system configurations. -Design, develop, and maintain SCADA systems using Ignition by Inductive Automation. -Integrate PLCs with SCADA systems for real-time monitoring, control, and data acquisition. -Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards.

What You Bring

-Experience with HMI development, scripting (Python preferred), and database integration -Familiarity with chemical blending, filling, or similar process control systems is a plus -Excellent problem-solving and communication skills -3+ years of experience in SCADA engineering, preferably in chemical or manufacturing environments -Proficiency in Ignition SCADA, Allen-Bradley PLCs, and other PLCs -PLC programming -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related field -Strong understanding of industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, Modbus)
