Senior Engineer - Civil (STP)

Overview

Supervise construction of STP and wastewater infrastructure projects in Dubai.

Tasks

-Monitor and review inspectors’ performance on a regular basis, providing guidance where necessary. -Coordinate with the Head Office design team for material submittal reviews, design queries, and technical clarifications. -Support in resolving site-related technical issues and provide input for potential design modifications. -Update and report progress for all assigned works to the Project Manager for inclusion in project reports. -Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards during all site activities. -Develop and implement QA/QC procedures applicable to STP and pumping station works, including inspections, test plans, and method statements. -Review and verify updated records to ensure accurate preparation of as-built documentation. -Conduct and follow up on inspections for installations, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. -Check, verify, and coordinate for all assigned services, including civil, structural, and MEP interfaces. -Oversee and inspect construction activities for STP pipelines, sewers, manholes, valve chambers (VC), washout chambers (WO), air valves (AV), connection chambers, pumping station structures, and non-disruptive road crossings.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. -Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in STP and pumping station design principles. -Demonstrated experience in STP pipelines, sewers, manholes, VC, WO, AV, connection chambers, and non-disruptive road crossings. -Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in the design, construction, and site supervision of STPs, pumping stations, and wastewater infrastructure. -Middle East / UAE experience preferred, particularly in Dubai Municipality projects.
