Commercial Roofing Foreman

Overview

Lead crew installing commercial roofs, ensuring quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

Tasks

-Provide training, leadership and direction to the field employees under their supervision. -Ensure the proper utilization of materials and equipment. -Completing field inspections -Organize a materials list -Perform roof repairs as needed -Train employees on safety procedures and safety equipment. -Promote proper work ethic and enforce the Company’s policies, procedures and practices. -Inspect roofs for damages and leaks -Develop a scope of work with a budget -Plan, administrate, and participate as an instructor in Company sponsored education programs for the workforce. -Clean rooftops by snow removal, ice removal and other debris

What You Bring

-Proficient knowledge of PC software applications including Word and Excel. -Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. -Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. -Possesses a working knowledge in blueprint reading and specifications. -Valid driver’s license -Strong interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills. -3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Advanced planning skills for establishing maximum productivity of workforce, materials, and equipment. -Extensive knowledge with multiple types of roofing products and systems. -High School Diploma or equivalent.
