Overview
Paint, sandblast and prep industrial fan parts, ensuring quality and safety
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Coordinate staging and sequencing of hanging of parts, production items, and product components to be painted on overhead conveyor system. -Operate spray painting guns, equipment, and related items in the appropriate/efficient manner, being sure to follow all safety and OSHA standards. -Maintain clean, orderly work areas and equipment. -Perform light maintenance on equipment, machines, and other devices used in the normal course of the work performed. -Unload of parts, items, and product components. -Utilize small tools such as grinders to remove scratches, excess weld material and burrs. -Operates sandblasting machine to clean surfaces prior to painting or coating. -Report repairs and/or issues to team lead or supervisor. -Follow all safety rules and adhere to core value of business. -Daily documentation of work performed for required production records. -Ensure proper and effective operation of entire finishing system throughout the painting process so that all parts and surfaces are free from defects. -Monitor quality of own work and immediately report defective material, unusual conditions, and/or operating difficulties to team lead or supervisor.

What You Bring
-Ability to read work orders so that the correct part numbers are selected, and correct color is applied to parts. -Sitting, standing, walking, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, crawling, climbing, twisting, reaching, and working at heights. -Process improvement mindset -1 year experience in manufacturing environment. -Ability to communicate both verbally and written. -Punctual, on time, ready to work, every day -Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as a team. -Experience sandblast, industrial paint, or similar operation -High school diploma or equivalent -Plant environment with potential exposure to harsh weather, excessive heat/cold, and/or excessive noise. -Perform repetitive motions. -Attention to detail -Lifting to 50 pounds with assistance. -Excellent attendance
