Overview

Handle order entry, customer service, and coordinate sales, engineering, and production.

Tasks

-Provide administrative support with order submissions -Provide availability, schedules, and delivery within established guidelines -Provide timely customer service and assistance with inside sales/application engineering orders, inquiries, and concerns received by email, telephone, or personal contact -Coordinate with RVP, sales representatives, customer contacts, planning and manufacturing to meet requirements of long-term blanket programs/agreements (commercial). -Liaise with finance department to ensure timely invoice and payments where applicable -Handle customer calls for product information, product availability, pricing, and order status -Perform order entry of Inside Sales parts, send acknowledgments of placed orders to customers, track, process, and expedite to meet customer needs -Consult and collaborate with various departments within G&W, as appropriate, to inform customer of scheduling issues that arise during order life cycles -Interface with Production in order to provide accurate lead times and delivery schedules -Expedite and track order activity from company warehouse and alert appropriate staff and clients of any potential issues through daily production meetings

What You Bring

-Has 1-3 years business experience, either in Inside Sales or related experience performing order entry along with some quotations and sales tenders -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail -Ability to work independently and as a team player while solving problems and multitasking in a deadline-driven environment -Ability to develop strong business relationships and work will all levels of staff, specifically interfacing with Production, Engineering and Accounting -Exceptional organizational and communication skills both verbal and written in English -Demonstrated proficiency in interacting directly with Customers and / or Suppliers -Excellent customer focus and interpersonal skills -Working knowledge of JD Edwards Software. -Technical Certificate / Diploma or equivalent mix of relevant education (e.g. 2 year Business Administration Certificate, or 3 year Business Administration Diploma) with proven Inside Sales experience -Understanding of basic electrical terms and distribution systems -Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or comments from internal and external clients, such as Outside Sales, Inside Sales, or the Customer base -Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook -Previous experience in manufacturing environment and/or customer service role
