Tasks

-Leads development of business cases ensuring all key framework areas are succinctly captured, adds thought leadership in relation to delivery approach and development of the case for change. -Effectively manages conflict within assigned teams. -Carries out risk assessments across their area of delivery, developing mitigations and escalating appropriately. -Develops project budgets alongside key stakeholders. -Facilitates regular feedback to stakeholders to keep them engaged -Ensures that effective project control, change control, risk management and quality management processes are maintained. -Develops or leads development of statements of work alongside vendors ensuring value for money for Watercare, manages SOWs to successful completion. -Monitors and controls resources, opex, and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders in relation to costs of work. -Produces timely, effective reporting, ensuring stakeholders are able to understand and monitor differing reporting approaches. -Focus self and assigned teams on continuous process improvement and new ways of working. -Takes full responsibility for the definition, delivery, and successful completion of large projects. -Develops and reviews contracts and SOWs ensuring attention to detail and clearly articulated deliverables which provide maximum value for money for Watercare. -Builds long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders, acts as a single point of contact for all stakeholders in relation to their assigned projects. -Stays abreast of potential issues and roadblocks and proactively ensures early communication of known or anticipated concerns.

What You Bring

-Excellent leadership skills, communicating clear strategy and purpose. -Either second or third level Scrum Master certification (PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC) or Project Management qualification (Prince2, PMP) -Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently; strong organization skills; ability to plan forward and manage deadlines. -Understands the balance of leadership vs servant leadership and effectively demonstrates both as required. -Tertiary level qualification in an appropriate discipline -Experience leading large, high profile projects with budgets > $3M. -A demonstrable track record of enabling continuous improvement. -Strong attention to detail -Proven experience using agile delivery methods, whilst understanding the fundamental principles behind what they are trying to achieve and why they are valued. -Strong facilitation skills, presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders. -Experience of multiple frameworks, including scaled agile, waterfall, scrum, kanban and hybrid approaches. -Experience leading agile teams to deliver to project outcomes using hybrid methodologies. -Experience of working in fast paced digital environments, delivering at pace. -Experience in a leadership role in a large scaled agile environment. -3 years' experience either leading multiple cross functional agile teams with demonstrated value delivery or managing large project or programme delivery (budgets > $2M) -Understands Watercare's non-tangible assets capitalization policy and optimizes budgets to ensure most effective use of capital budgets. -Maintains vision and clarity of priorities to teams using clear communication style.
