-Must have demonstrated experience with managing and designing medium- to large-sized projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards -Knowledge of structural and geotechnical design concepts, analytical laboratory techniques and familiarity with codes and regulation related to drinking water -Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team -Proficient in public speaking roles -Work well in a team environment -Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. -Understanding and application of water supply planning, demand management, alternatives analysis, and feasibility studies for small to large water supply projects of moderate complexity. -Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering -Proficient in MS Word and Excel -Demonstrate creative, foresight and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering problems -Application of hydraulic, hydrologic, or hydrogeologic modeling systems to support the planning and design of related infrastructure, such as: pipelines, open channels, pump stations, channel stabilization techniques, rapid infiltration systems, storage and treatment facilities, wellfields, and other natural and manmade systems. -15+ years of water resources projects -Familiarity with computer applications including ArcGIS and water and sewer hydraulic calculations/modeling software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM, Groundwater Vistas). -Registration as a Professional Engineer -Ability to evaluate progress of staff and results obtained, and recommends major changes to achieve overall objectives -Familiar with a broad range of issues related to wastewater and reuse systems, including master planning, conveyance, with an emphasis on treatment plant design.
