The Role
Overview
Inspect tanks, pressure vessels, and piping for compliance with API 510/653 standards.

Tasks
-Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments. -Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc. -Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc. -Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc. -Performs field inspections of tanks, pressure vessels, and piping for compliance with standards and regulations, and ensures quality control and compliance. -Generate written reports utilizing MS Word and MS Excel. -Provides recommendations for repairs and alterations to tanks, pressure vessels, piping and other components. -Manage client relationships, work with inspectors, effectively communicate work progress/status with client.

What You Bring
-AutoCAD and/or Compress experience preferred. -High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred. -Plant engineering or steel fabrication experience. -Process improvement experience. -Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results -Industrial inspection, operations and maintenance experience. -Strong organizational skills. -Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds. -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power-point, AutoCAD -3+ years of experience in Mechanical Integrity in pulp and paper industry. -Ability to multi-task and work in a growing environment -Strong leadership skills and ability to work unsupervised. -Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
