-Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment -Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions -Inspect equipment for signs of wear -Ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements -Assist in plant maintenance and repairs -Perform duties with minimum supervision -Participate in safety programs and trainings, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture -Notify supervisors of needed repairs

What You Bring

-Knowledge of MSHA regulations -General physical activities including climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reach with hands and arms, and handling materials -Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance -Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred -Effective verbal communication -Proper wear of personal protective equipment -Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round -High school diploma or equivalent -Ability to work with minimal supervision
