Tasks

-Collaborate with cybersecurity, networking, and DevOps teams to integrate secure and compliant infrastructure solutions. -Ensure system performance, availability, and scalability through proactive performance tuning and monitoring. -Design and implement compute and storage architectures in hybrid environments (cloud and on-prem). -Lead deployment and configuration of enterprise-grade storage and computer hardware. -Document architecture designs, deployment procedures, and system configurations. -Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance infrastructure efficiency.

What You Bring

-Strong background in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM). -Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP). -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Experience with performance monitoring tools and techniques. -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. -Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware VCP, or similar. -Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation tools is a plus (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). -Expertise in enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS, object storage). -Proficiency in hardware configuration and performance optimization. -DHS or other federal agency experience. -7-9 years of experience in compute and storage architecture and deployment. -Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies. -Excellent communication and documentation abilities. -Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
