The Role

Overview

Install/maintain water & wastewater monitoring equipment in Auckland field sites.

Tasks

-Check and validate monitoring data for accuracy and performance -Analyse data trends and report findings to engineers, scientists, and managers -Schedule and carry out maintenance activities across multiple sites -Install and service flow, level, and logging equipment in wastewater and stormwater networks -Contribute to real-time monitoring programs that support infrastructure upgrades and environmental compliance -Work in environments such as manholes, pipes, instrument cabinets, and treatment plants -Perform site-based work, including occasional night shifts, with a strong focus on safety

What You Bring

-Practical and safety-conscious, with a willingness to work in confined spaces like manholes -Basic computer skills in Word and Excel -Hold a full NZ driver’s licence and legal entitlement to work in New Zealand -Comfortable working with wastewater and in physically active environments -Background in plumbing, drainlaying, construction, or general contracting is a bonus (not essential) -Physically fit and able to pass a full medical test
