The Plumber also makes rounds in the mechanical rooms and responds to all trouble calls from various departments throughout the hospital, rectifies or isolates the problems and ensures continuity of their related operation
Participate in educational programs and In-Service training
Adhere to and promote the Occupational Health and Safety legislative and corporate requirements
Represent the department with a positive and professional attitude
Communicate the work status with the client groups via Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS) within the time frame given in Response Time Policy

Ability to read and comprehend mechanical, electrical and control drawings
Solid communications ability (verbal and written)
On-call availability for technical support as required.
Solid computer proficiency, MS Office, CMMS, etc.
Knowledge of Building Automation System (BAS), Plant systems (Chiller, boiler, water treatment etc.) & fire alarm/safety system, pneumatic tube, and Medical Gas System.
Possess a trade ticket.
Healthcare and/or Hospital experience.

3-5+ years' experience in a similar position (ideally in a hospital or healthcare setting)
