The Role

Overview

Perform installation, maintenance and compliance for cryogenic and high‑pressure gas equipment at UK/Ireland sites.

Tasks

-Support commissioning/decommissioning activities for projects. -Collaborate with internal teams for installation approvals and “Safe to Fill” processes. -Maintain shutdown systems, control valves, and pneumatic control systems. -Liaise with customers for site access and job readiness. -Provide verbal and in-person support for external customers and internal operational plants. -Execute statutory and non-statutory maintenance in a timely manner. -Ensure safe operation and legal compliance of sites. -Service safety devices (pressure relief valves, bursting discs). -Maintain installed instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level, gas detection). -Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed. -Respond promptly to unplanned corrective maintenance.

What You Bring

-Full UK Driving Licence (essential). -Skills in brazing, welding, or fabrication – desirable. -Ability to travel frequently and work remotely. -Mechanical, piping, instrumentation, or fitter background. -Familiarity with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, ServiceMax) and PDA usage. -Demonstrate discipline in using tools such as ServiceMax and WorkDay for work order management. -Good standard of education including Mathematics and English (Grade C or above). -Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; willingness to work extended hours when required. -Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently. -Adherence to customer-specific safety protocols and procedures. -Field-based experience in installations and maintenance activities. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven customer-facing experience. -Recognised Instrument, Electrical, or Mechanical Apprenticeship and/or HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience. -Full engagement in Basic Safety Process (BSP) activities, including attendance at BSP LII Sequential Safety Meetings and completion of daily/monthly BSP tasks. -Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. -Experience with Pressurised Systems (PSSR 2000 compliance) – desirable. -Ability to work cross-functionally in multi-disciplined teams.
