Batcher in Charge

Operate and manage concrete batching plant, handle orders, safety and communication.

Tasks

-Oversee and manage the operation of machinery and equipment used in the production of concrete at the plant. -Customer service, ensure that all enquiries are managed in an efficient, professional and respectful manner -Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of batching machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime. -Placing orders for customers and internal stakeholders and managing stock holdings -Communicate effectively with drivers via radio to coordinate deliveries and ensure smooth workflow. -Operate and monitor automated systems to accurately dispense materials and ensure consistent concrete production. -Adhere strictly to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for both you and other employees -Assist with manual handling and lifting tasks as required to support plant operations.

What You Bring

-Current C Class Drivers licence essential, HR Licence Desirable. -Loader ticket or ability to be VOC'd -Qualifications in Concrete highly regarded -Demonstrated ability to prioritise work effectively in a busy production environment -Mechanically minded -Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated relationship building skills -Strong demonstrated administration experience and computer proficiency -Ability to work exceptionally well in a team -Experience in staff management and logistics coordination highly desirable -Demonstrated Experience as a Batcher/Allocator
