Tasks

-Create detailed engineering designs and drawings using advanced CAD software -Coordinate with contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders throughout project lifecycles -Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil transportation engineering -Develop and manage transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, and public transit systems -Prepare technical reports, project specifications, and cost estimates -Implement sustainable and innovative solutions in transportation design and planning -Perform structural analysis and calculations for transportation-related structures -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project integration and compliance with local regulations -Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for proposed transportation projects -Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards

What You Bring

-LEED AP certification is a plus -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite -Willingness to travel to project sites as needed -Excellent project management skills and experience with project management software -Strong knowledge of transportation planning, traffic engineering, and highway design principles -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously -Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and sustainable design practices -Minimum 1 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on transportation projects -Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and structural analysis software -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar CAD software -Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
