Overview
Set up, operate, and maintain honing machines in a hydraulic pump plant.

Tasks
-Set up machine in accordance with setup matrix and best practice. Understands the different settings and adjustments available on the hone machines. -Responsible for visually inspecting equipment, complete oil checks, or other inspection methods required to ensure honing equipment is maintained to an acceptable level.

What You Bring
-Must have basic math skills with the ability to calculate clearance in decimals. -Comfortable using precision gage tools and measuring equipment. -Able to set and adjust hone tooling to achieve quality parts. Understands the basics of statistical process control and the use of control limits. -High School Education or GED. -Must understand dimensional requirements and the importance of producing parts that meet specifications.
