The Role

Overview

Support engineers/managers on construction sites with audits, drawings, coordination, and reporting.

Tasks

-Coordinate material deliveries and documentation -Assist with surveying and project layout -Attend relevant project meetings -Assist with coordinating subcontractors, vendors and field staff -Assist Field/Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents -Prepare memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other forms and documents -Assist with estimating and soliciting subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricing -Conduct safety audits and quality audits -Maintain and update field drawings, field equipment and records -Log submittals, process RFI’s and prepare reports

What You Bring

-Read and understand drawings and specifications -Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree relevant to the construction industry such as construction management, construction engineering, or construction technology. -Proof of eligibility to work in the United States -18 years of age or older and possess a valid Driver’s License -Willing to temporarily relocate to project locations -Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance -Available to work full time from May to August
