The Role

Overview

Lead pipefitting crews on commercial building services projects, ensuring safety and quality.

Tasks

-Proactively identify potential delays or issues and recommend corrective actions. -Ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and OSHA safety regulations. -Oversee installation, assembly, and repair of piping systems, including HVAC, chilled water, steam, hot water, and process piping. -Train and mentor journeymen and apprentices, promoting skill development and teamwork. -Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work activities to meet project deadlines. -Lead and supervise pipefitting crews on commercial building services projects. -Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain workflow and resolve job site issues. -Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide installations. -Conduct quality control inspections to verify accuracy and craftsmanship of work performed. -Maintain accurate daily reports, time records, and material usage logs.

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR. -Advanced knowledge of commercial mechanical piping systems (HVAC, hydronic, and plumbing systems). -OSHA 30 certification preferred; OSHA 10 required. -Minimum 10 years of progressive pipefitting experience, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or foreman role. -Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. -Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform tasks in varying job site conditions. -Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage crews effectively. -Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
