Tasks
-Monitor labor relation activities; develop and maintain rapport to assure cooperation and productive working relationships with contractors. -Participate in the planning and organization of outage/project work activities. -Effectively communicate with team, management, customers, contractors, vendors and regulatory agencies. -Listen and identify customer needs/wants. -Pursue effective ways to protect and enhance the environment while providing reliable electricity at a competitive cost. -Work with others in both supplying information and seeking assistance as necessary. -Make decisions and contribute to team decision making and consensus building. -Provide training and guidance to lower level employees as appropriate. -Coordinate work activities of others within work group, team or those external to the company including contractors, vendors as required to resolve routine technical tasks and field work activities.

-Perform varied assignments demonstrating technical knowledge and analytical techniques to solution of problems or analysis. -Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships across departments. -Extensive travel required and possible relocation. -Position requires working outside in all types of weather and exposure to hazardous materials. -Must be available to work overtime, call-out overtime and shift work, as required. Travel requirements are expected > 50 % of the time Physical demand level is Sedentary -Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in data visualization and analysis tools, particularly Power BI. -Knowledge of AEP's general terms and conditions and the experience and ability to correctly interpret and administer contracts. Apply problem solving skills to resolve technical problems and initiate solution techniques. -an Associate's degree in a technical discipline and 3 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment, and typically a minimum of 6 years of experience in work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge -Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. -Project Coordination: Proven experience in coordinating projects and tasks among engineering teams and management. -Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration with various stakeholders, including TFS, TDC, DDC, SCC, Transmission & Distribution Planning, and Project Engineering services. -Metrics and KPIs: Ability to develop, track, and report on metrics, dashboards, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). -Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college and typically a minimum of 3 years of experience in work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge. OR -Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess and improve processes. -Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools and software to assist in task organization and tracking. -Intake Management: Experience in managing intake requests and ensuring timely delivery of engineering tasks. -Demonstrate an attitude and desire to listen to and satisfy both internal and external customers who use and depend upon our work. -Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
