Overview
Assist with structural modeling and documentation for multidisciplinary projects
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Opportunity to grow your knowledge by attending site reviews and inspections, as well as reviewing the contractor’s work to ensure compliance with the project drawings and specifications -Work with architects, interior designers, mechanical and electrical engineers to create truly integrated and sustainable design solutions -Work with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are achieved and maintained -Prepare documents required for approvals, and construction cost estimates, tenders, and contracts -Provide design support to engineers, architects, and other technologists -Prepare Revit models and engineering drawings for timber, steel, masonry and concrete buildings

What You Bring
-A Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology or equivalent -Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office -Knowledge of building codes is an asset -Curiosity to learn from an integrated design team on all aspects of project delivery -Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on effective collaboration and integration -0-2 years of structural modelling experience working on commercial, industrial, and/or institutional buildings
