Overview

Assist Project Managers in overseeing commercial construction projects from bid to completion.

Tasks

-Assist with negotiating contract scope and value with bidder. -Assist with the advised scheduling of contractual rights and obligations. -Assist with reviewing all correspondence concerning subcontractors and respond as necessary. -Assist with establishing and maintaining contact with subcontractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract awarding process. -Assist with compiling data for preparing estimates. -Assist with qualifying subcontractors prior to award. -Assist with reviewing pricing, bids and confirms accuracy of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and validity. -Assist with reviews bids from subcontractors for conformity to contract requirements and recommends acceptable bids. -Assist with processes subcontractor change orders. -Assist with preparing bids for distribution to market. Includes drawings, specifications, test reports, and other exhibits that may be required. -Assist with communication to accounting on subcontractor payments. -Assist with requests or approved amendments to or extensions of contracts. -Assist with recommended awards and administer subcontracts.

What You Bring

-1-2 years of project management experience with commercial construction projects preferred. -Strong organization, time-management, verbal and written communication skills. -Bachelor's degree in related field.
