Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot aircraft structures and systems for C‑27, C‑12, CASA.

Tasks

-This worker will read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. -Maintain aircraft logbook forms and records. -This mechanic repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills. -Supporting C-27, C-12 and CASA aircraft.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematics and IETMs. -The Aircraft Mechanic I troubleshoots malfunctions on aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneumatics, engines, axillary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. -Must have previous aviation maintenance experience (turbo-prop experience preferred). -Ability to make sound decisions when troubleshooting and maintaining avionics systems. -Ability to obtain / maintain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. -Experience using multimeters and other applicable tools.
