Tasks

The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary client led team. They will have a client-facing role and will be required to manage people and projects. The role includes leading a focussed delivery team and offers the potential to have a key role in the implementation of BusConnects Core Bus Corridors (CBCs) in Dublin and influence the success of the project. The role will report into an Associate Director on the team and offers significant growth opportunities. -Act as a point of escalation for any issues that arise either representing our clients’ interest to the Local Authority, or the Local Authorities interests to our appointed contractors; -Liaise with internal multidisciplinary team of internal resources to coordinate responses to queries raised by technical stakeholders; -Organise, lead and participate in internal and external stakeholder meetings; -Liaise with contractors appointed to construct the CBCs to ensure effective communication and consultation with Local Authorities is being undertaken. -Ensure the needs of Local Authorities are respected by our team and contractors in all stages of the project. -Represent our client in all engagements with Local Authorities ensuring effective relationships are maintained. -Manage the coordination of all aspects of design and construction interfaces with major technical stakeholders, primarily Local Authorities. -Lead communications with Local Authorities and coordinate support from technical teams across all disciplines and functions. -Manage the recording and tracking of all interactions with technical stakeholders; and

What You Bring

To support our continued growth and expansion in the transport sector we are looking for an experienced Technical Interface Manager with strong communication skills, a genuine interest in transport and thirst for solving client problems. The role will be based in our Dublin Office with the opportunity to be client facing in our client’s headquarter office in Smithfield. -Carrying out relationship management activities, preferably with Local Authorities in an Irish context. -Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. -Experience in managing administrative resources supporting stakeholder engagement (e.g. tracking, documentation). -Familiarity with Local Authority structures, departments and sections. -Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships. -Ability to foster a collaborative culture across stakeholders and within team. -Skilled in presenting to large groups, including senior personnel across diverse stakeholder organisations. -Ability to understand technical issues and clearly communicate these to interested parties. -Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities and respond effectively to Local Authority requests. -Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. -Strong prioritisation skills with a consistent ability to meet deadlines and deliver highquality service. -Capable of managing stakeholder expectations and delivering within agreed parameters. -10+ years’ experience in urban engineering works involving activities across the project lifecycle through to completion. -Skilled in governing and driving outcomes to ensure service excellence. -Familiarity of requirements of Local Authority departments with respect to urban engineering works. -Excellent stakeholder negotiation and influence capabilities. -Further demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following:Carrying out relationship management activities, preferably with Local Authorities in an Irish context.Familiarity with Local Authority structures, departments and sections.Familiarity of requirements of Local Authority departments with respect to urban engineering works.Project and programme management support. -Proven ability to lead stakeholder engagements to achieve desired outcomes.
