The Role
Overview
Commission, test, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical systems in data centers.

Tasks
-Fully document all field procedures, including results, issues, and observations using online applications. -Ensure compliance with company, client, and project safety requirements. -Perform inspections of electrical equipment and contractor installation for compliance to specifications and industry best practices. -Attend factory inspection and testing of equipment and document findings and recommendations. -Review system designs for compliance with client facility goals -Conduct commissioning activities from the Design Phase into the Occupation Phase, in accordance with client requirements. -Work with project teams to coordinate and execute field activities. -Commission electrical distribution equipment and related controls, primarily in data center environments, including HV and MV primary distribution. -Report on electrical system performance and make technical recommendations on issues -Respond to customer inquiries in a manner that exceeds the customer's expectations -Review and comment on project documentation, plans, and schedules. -Assist in the training of junior engineers. -Conduct physical testing of electrical equipment and measure results using test instrumentation -Prepare plans and procedures for execution of the commissioning process. -Submit and maintain daily commissioning reports as required.

What You Bring
-Minimum of 4 or more years of experience as a commissioner with mission critical project experience, or relevant and applicable industry experience -Experience in Mission Critical facility commissioning. -Travel nationwide 50% - 75% if not assigned locally. -Knowledgeable with common mechanical, and controls-related building equipment, including: -BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering with 2 or more years with mission critical project experience, or relevant and applicable industry experience. -Reasonable understanding of Building Management Systems. -Medium and low-voltage electrical switchgear. -Ability to wear required PPE daily. -Deep understanding and application of test instrumentation. -Knowledge & experience with ASHRAE commissioning guidelines preferred. -PLC controls and sequences of operations. -Good communication and relationship skills. -Effective written and verbal communication skills. -Distributed control system experience a plus. -Organized, detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, problem solver. -Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work with limited supervision. -Carry up to 50 lbs. -Ability to walk up to 5 miles per day.
