Tasks

-Reviews client business requirements and project specifications to ensure construction projects are developed accordingly. -Delivers structural engineering plans, complex designs, and systematic testing methodologies to facilitate the planning, construction, and maintenance services associated with bridges, foundations, and other ancillary structures. -Leads the delivery of projects following contract guidelines, meeting project schedules, managing assets within project budgets and producing quality products.

What You Bring

-10 - 15 years of progressive professional experience designing bridges -Good written and verbal communication skills -Master of Civil Engineering preferred -Experience coaching and leading lower-level professionals -Ability to travel, if so what 25% of the time -Memberships in Professional Organizations -Licensed Structural Engineer with successful completion of 16-hour exam preferred -Licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia or comparable license within the United States -GDOT experience preferred -Substantial Experience with AASHTO LRFD -Experience delivering quality projects following demonstrated QC/QA protocols -Bachelor of Science – Civil Engineering -Experience with Bluebeam, ProjectWise, Bentley Engineering software, and GDOT in house design software preferred -Demonstrated experience leading and delivering complex projects
