The Role
Overview
Assist clients with Medicaid eligibility, handle data entry and case management.

Tasks
-Attend one on ones and staff meetings to stay informed about processes and procedures. -Access available computer inquiry systems to obtain necessary verifications. -Conduct client interviews to obtain and exchange general and sensitive information for the purpose of determining eligibility. -Onboard new clients with an “intake” questionnaire to assess an applicant’s eligibility for Medicaid benefits. -Learn, understand, and follow Federal and State laws, Federal and State Medicaid laws, rules, regulations, standards, and State Policies related to programs of public assistance. -Perform added case management responsibilities as needed. -Document all case management details using eligibility system. -Work closely with the client to securely collect application documents via digital files (pdf, jpg, etc.). -Analyze the applicant’s financial data, and input calculations into eligibility system. -Follow all CAI and State Security requirements.

What You Bring
-Ability to problem solve. -Minimum of one year case management or processing programs of assistance for State government experience -Minimum of one year determining compliance with State and Federal laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures, or related experience -Ability to remain seated for extended periods and work in a stationary position at a desk -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor -Strong written and Bilingual communication skills -Ability to work 100% onsite -Fluent in English -One year data entry experience -Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite -Transportation to/from office, dependable and on-time -Be available to work a minimum of a Saturday a month, if necessary -Outstanding organization skills with strong attention to detail -One year customer service experience -High school diploma or equivalent -Knowledge of Medicaid or Public Programs of Assistance eligibility -Ability to analyze financial calculations. -Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
