Tasks

We’re expanding our Direct Labour Operations (DLO) team and have a newly created opportunity for a skilled Roofing Repairs Technician. You’ll carry out day-to-day roofing maintenance and repairs across our property portfolio, helping to keep our homes safe, secure, and comfortable for residents. -Work independently while adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies. -Deliver high-quality results and excellent customer service. -Replace damaged shingles, install insulation systems, and construct weather-resistant roofs. -Carry out roofing maintenance and repairs across our properties.

What You Bring

Due to the nature of some of our roles involving work with vulnerable members of society, this post may be subject to a basic or enhanced Criminal Disclosure, which will be carried out when a conditional offer is made. We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our repairs and maintenance team, covering Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and the surrounding areas. Van + Fuel card provided for business usage. Working independently, you’ll deliver high-quality repairs using a range of roofing materials and tools. You’ll be confident working on both flat and pitched roofs, and minor carpentry skills will be a valuable bonus. You’ll be a visible ambassador for SettleParadigm, combining technical expertise with a friendly, professional approach to customer service. -Proven experience in roofing maintenance and repairs (flat and/or pitched roofs) -Minor carpentry skills to support roofing repairs. -Valid UK driving licence. -Confidence using digital tools to manage schedules and updates. -Ability to mentor other staff when required. -Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction practices, and health & safety standards. -Use a range of roofing materials and tools with confidence. -Experience in social housing/local authority. -City & Guilds qualification, NVQ, or equivalent experience in roofing trades. -Physical fitness and ability to work at heights for extended periods.
