Tasks
Repairs Admin Support Assistant - Keep our repairs service running smoothly with expert admin support – Location: High Wycombe (hybrid working) From opening and closing cases to maintaining accurate records, raising purchase orders, and supporting scheduling, you’ll help ensure our residents receive timely, compliant, and well-communicated repairs. You’ll work closely with Repairs Coordinators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and Customer Services to keep everything running smoothly. We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Repairs Admin Support Assistant to join our Repairs team. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of damp, mould, and emergency hazard repairs in line with Awaab’s Law. -Direct complex queries to the appropriate team member -Take accurate meeting minutes and manage follow-up actions -Track case progress and flag unresolved issues to Repairs Coordinators -Assist with coordinating repair works and follow-on appointments -Raise purchase orders and variations in line with procedures -Generate basic reports on case volumes and closure rates -Support scheduling, documentation, and resident communications -Liaise with suppliers and contractors for order updates -Provide cross-team support across reactive, routine, and external works -Maintain accurate case records and update internal systems in real time -Maintain shared inboxes and respond to routine enquiries within SLA -Open and close damp, mould, and emergency hazard cases in line with Awaab’s Law -Ensure compliance with data protection and record-keeping standards

What You Bring
Due to the nature of some of our roles involving work with vulnerable members of society, this post may be subject to a basic or enhanced Criminal Disclosure, which will be carried out when a conditional offer is made. -Familiarity with Awaab’s Law and HHSRS -Experience working within a social housing or local authority setting. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and service call logging systems -Team player with the ability to support colleagues across all levels -Experience in administrative or customer service roles, ideally in property maintenance -Attention to detail and a methodical approach to record keeping -Experience handling maintenance calls and technician coordination -Ability to take accurate meeting minutes and manage follow-up actions -Confidence in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment -Strong communication skills (verbal and written) -Knowledge of housing services and field maintenance operations -Excellent organisational and time management skills -Understanding of safeguarding and health-related housing risks
